2. The HUNTA Platform

HUNTA provides a digital platform that allows independent creators to design, publish, promote and monetise location-based scavenger hunts. HUNTA provides the technology infrastructure, tools, hosting and payment systems. HUNTA does not organise, supervise, manage or operate individual hunts. Creators remain solely responsible for the content and structure of the hunts they publish.

3. Creator Eligibility

To create hunts on HUNTA you must:

• •Have legal capacity to enter into contracts
• •Provide accurate account and payment information
• •Comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction

4. Creating Hunts

Creators agree that hunts must:

• •Be suitable for public participation
• •Not encourage illegal activity or trespassing
• •Avoid dangerous or unsafe environments
• •Respect private property
• •Comply with local laws and regulations
• •Not contain misleading, harmful or offensive content

5. Use of Artificial Intelligence

The HUNTA platform may include AI tools to assist creators. These are provided for assistance only. Creators acknowledge that AI-generated content may not always be accurate and are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before publishing. HUNTA accepts no responsibility for inaccuracies produced by AI tools.

6. Creator Responsibilities

Creators are fully responsible for:

• •The accuracy of hunt clues and instructions
• •The safety and accessibility of locations used
• •Ensuring locations are publicly accessible
• •Obtaining permission where required
• •Compliance with local laws and regulations

7. Payments and Creator Earnings

HUNTA operates a revenue-sharing model where 60% of each hunt purchase is paid to the creator and 40% is retained by HUNTA to operate the platform. This split is applied to the gross sale price before any third-party payment processing fees. The revenue share may change from time to time with reasonable notice.

8. Platform Fees and Third-Party Charges

Transactions may be subject to fees from third-party providers including:

• •Apple App Store transaction fees
• •Google Play Store transaction fees

These fees are controlled by the relevant providers and may change without notice.

9. Creator Payouts

Creators must connect a Stripe account to receive payments. Payout timing is subject to Stripe's processing timelines. HUNTA is not responsible for delays caused by payment providers. Creators are responsible for ensuring their payment account remains active and compliant.

10. Taxes

Creators are responsible for declaring income earned through the platform, paying applicable taxes, and complying with tax laws in their country of residence. HUNTA does not provide tax advice.

11. Intellectual Property

Creators retain ownership of the original content they create. By publishing hunts, creators grant HUNTA a non-exclusive worldwide licence to display, promote, and use hunt content for marketing purposes. All platform software, branding, logos and technology remain the property of HUNTA S.R.L.

12. Creator Safety and Location Responsibility

Creators are not expected to take on the full liability of a business running supervised physical activities. What these terms require is common sense: only include safe, publicly accessible locations in your hunts. Do not direct participants to private land, dangerous terrain, construction sites, restricted areas, or give instructions that could put someone at risk.

HUNTA is designed as a self-guided exploration experience — similar in nature to following a walking route or visiting a place recommended online. The responsibility placed on creators is about not creating unsafe situations, rather than being personally liable for every possible incident that could occur outdoors.

HUNTA does not inspect or verify hunt locations prior to publication. Creators must ensure their hunts meet these standards before submitting for review.

13. Participant Risk Disclaimer

Participants undertake hunts voluntarily, in the same way they might choose to follow any self-guided walking route or explore a location independently. HUNTA S.R.L. is a technology platform provider only and does not supervise physical activities. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HUNTA shall not be liable for accidents, injuries, property damage, or losses arising from participation in hunts.

14. Content Moderation

HUNTA reserves the right to review, modify, suspend or remove hunts that violate these Terms, breach laws, create safety concerns, or damage the reputation of the platform.

15. Indemnification

Creators agree to indemnify and hold harmless HUNTA S.R.L., its directors, employees and partners against any claims, damages, liabilities or legal costs arising directly from their failure to follow these terms — for example, directing participants to unsafe or unlawful locations, intellectual property violations, or publishing genuinely misleading content.

Note: This clause is not intended to make creators liable for every possible outdoor incident. It applies where a creator has acted carelessly or in breach of these terms — for instance, knowingly including a dangerous location or private property.

16. Termination

Creators may stop using the platform at any time. HUNTA may suspend or terminate creator accounts if these Terms are violated.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Italian courts.
